What is junk science?

In simple words, junk science means performing heavy research and publishing papers on “how to grow cucumbers in the space”. I am not kidding. People are doing research on this. Graduate schools are funded by this type of research.

Rockets fail systematically, fall freely, and get smashed. Sometimes we are lucky enough to see some debris, fireworks, if you may (of course, I am being funny. Absolute sarcasm. It’s a tragedy whenever they fail). Billions of Dollars are spent on making ships that were supposed to be lunched to Mars when? 2021? 2022?

Why are we even funding these projects? Who wants to grow cilantro in space? I have come to this rigid conclusion that people who work in academia, and industry, at times, have lost heir minds. Maybe they didn’t have one in the first place.

But why are they still funded?

We still haven’t figured out to grow one cell. We haven’t figured out the simplest mechanisms in the body of a plant. What makes human eligible to spend all the resources on deep research? We still take advantage of the macro world, and Newtonian physics. We still reply on building machines, tools, and objects, to cure humans, without even caring about atoms and molecules. What makes us believe that we need to spend our Planet’s wealth on something out of reach, and frankly stupid?

Maybe we need to fire those in academia and industry, first. They haven’t made any stable research line. The only stable line they have created, is their monthly, petty stipend. Clearly, academics are not smart. The smart ones either died or turned stupid. Why are we even keep ourselves busy with junk science?

If you communicate with academics, you will find almost all of them coming from another planet. They know anything about real life. They have been stuck in a small room, gotten paid on a regular basis in the past many years, and are on a rabbit hole to nonsense. We don’t need this.

At some point, academia will be considered like religion. Debatable. How may religious people do you see on a daily basis? Academia is already considered a religions with many branches. Everyone is proud of what they have done and what they are, and they hold prejudice against one another. Everyone is a king in their own imaginary world. Do we even need this? Can’t we invest on something else, instead of these old fashioned, small, petty people, surrounded by their hallucination, distanced from reality?

Need to add this. There were many theories / hypothesis until 1940s in science. The unforgettable mistake was to build on those works, which scientists did without testing their theories properly, and by applying modern techniques.

This is why science is backwarding, and why junk science has taken over.

This is why science and junk scientists are going down, and are taking respectable people down with them, too (there are not too many noble people in science. It’s mostly junk and garbage).

Majority of people who are in science, failed being accepted in the medical school. It’s a universal rule. You need a bachelor, high scores, excellent work, and decent interview process in order to be accepted in the medical school, and dentistry. Some people aren’t able to make it. What do they do, instead? Come to the grad school, and try their chances again, and again, until they get a failed Ph.D.

Academia is a collection of people, not all, but majority, at least in the places I have been, that are struggling. Academia is rotten from inside. It comes from people who are trying to meet the end by the dead end, hollow from inside projects. Year by year passes, and these people keep emphasizing on how groundbreaking their research is, and the only breaking that happens, is the back bone of the funding, that should be spent on worthier matters, and cleverer people.

In extremely rare move, Harvard revokes tenure and cuts ties with star business professor.

Harvard University has stripped a world-renowned scholar of her tenure status. The university’s top governing board, the Harvard Corporation, decided this month to revoke Francesca Gino’s tenure and end her employment at Harvard Business School.

And I looked “into it”. In 2020 a graduate student tried to replicate Gino’s research. She couldn’t get any of her results, and that was just the beginning.

You know, Gino is not the only person, in my opinion. Academia is rotten from inside. People who know academia very well, know how impossible it is to get fired, if you are a tenure track professor. It never happens, regardless of the severity of the damage a professor causes.

But when Gino gets fired, immediately, it’s a sign.

It means the turn for others, including white male, and white female, is flashing.

It also means that the universities are starting to show no merci. This is Harvard we are talkin about. Its business school is the most popular.

Plus, academia, and especially these useless fields such as business schools, are truly worthless. I don’t even know why they are still functioning. No one gets anything out of them. People who already have wealth, get into them, make some connection, and get out. Their wealth is guaranteed for the rest of their lives, and the rest is just show.

The rest, who come from third world countries, get into these schools, spend a ton, graduate, and work for free, many years. Then, go to some random place, earn some indecent salary, and live unhappily ever after. The only brag they have, is “I studied in some famous university for dumb people, and I am dumb, cause my biggest wish was to be included with them”.

Babe, they are Princes and Princesses of somewhere. The fact that they back to the home countries, live with dignity, and happily every after, and you are some loner in some hot / cold unbearable town God did not approve of living in, means you never belonged there.

Get of your high horses.

But then, back to that topic, universities should get shut down. Those professors, they do nothing except for trying to break kids. They earn for the damage they make, and it’s unethical, and unfair. No one should get paid for the destruction they cause to the society. Day after day, year after year, you see them unwillingly attend school work, putting others down, and competing each other for petty awards. They have no interest in teaching, their knowledge has rusted over time, and the only reason they are there, is because they are getting old, and they university pays them decently (and sometimes they are underpaid, but have no choices).

Does our in tension, already in crisis society need this?

Instead of spending money on these useless majors such as business, law, finance, chemistry, physics, math, social sciences, and education, we need to do in job training for them all. If we, truly decide to invest in foundations of any of them, then, universities need to get shut forever. Because the last thing they do is any actual investment in foundation of anything.

Instead, put that money into medicine, nursing, and medical sciences majors, and health sciences. Put it into rescue departments. Invest in agriculture, in forest preservation, and in environmental matters. Why is it so hard to understand?

In the end, it’s the woman who chooses. If you were rejected by her, don’t be disappointed. You were not the first man whose offer was declined, and you won’t be the last one.

But don’t be immature. Don’t gossip that you were the one who turned her away. Modern, civilized societies will realize you’re a weak man who couldn’t take a no. Don’t be small, and a sore loser.

A parentified child will learn how to read a room before they learn to actually read.

Before you argue with someone, ask yourself, is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of different perspective?

If not, there is no point to argue.

There live folks here in this country that so much remind me of my childhood. They are laid back, warmhearted, and humble. They find meaning in every simplicity, and they seem to search for a joy in every type of circumstance they face with.

I like that in humans. It’s a quality I have rarely seen in people since I became an adult. That free spirit, the hope, the loving nature they possess. I love that here.

They just sit back, relax, and chat with you. They enjoy every sip of everything.

I love their smiles, their chuckles, and their glances. It’s flown with passion.
