People are graduating with Ph.D.s, getting nothing in return.

Either jobless, or landing a postdoc, they seem lost. No one is getting a descent, proper job with their degrees.

Wow.

It’s getting scary. The best years of their lives are gone, for nothing. Almost none has been able to pursue a career with that degree.

I don’t understand the type of the dream they live in. Did they not see this coming?
